Mar 2004 ~ STJ Youth Group's Trip to Dominican Republic

  News from St Jerome's:
30 March 2004: A group of youth and adults are traveling to the Dominican Republic at Easter to help Fr. Joe McGuckin with the construction of a multi-use facility for the people of his region.

Part of this building will house a sewing centre. Arrangements are now being made to accept donations of sewing notions (e.g. thread, scissors, needles, button, etc.) and fabric that could be used to help these people set up this sewing centre. Sewing machines or electric items would not be useful at this time. If you would be interested in sending sewing notions or fabric, these items could be dropped off at St. Jerome's School office or at Holy Name Church office by March 20th.

Questions can be directed to Marlene at 853-2075.
